Leading suppliers look to Premier Auto Trade in 2009

Premier Auto Trade is pleased to announce a new distribution agreement with DENSO International Australia, distributing their range of fuel pumps, oxygen sensors and injectors.

DENSO is the world’s largest automotive original equipment supplier, manufacturing components for all the major car companies. Its Australian sales and manufacturing plant is located in Croydon Melbourne with a 600 strong employee base including research and development facilities.

DENSO fuel pumps are specified by almost all the major vehicle manufacturers including: Ford, General Motors, Toyota, Lexus, Mitsubishi, Mazda, Subaru, Suzuki, Hyundai and Daimler Chrysler. DENSO has also been producing diesel engine management systems since 1957 and is among the top three producers of diesel fuel injection systems in the world.

In 2008, for the second consecutive year, DENSO Australia Group successfully won the prestigious Supplier of the Year award from the Federal Chamber of Industries (FCAI) in recognition of its excellence as a first tier automotive component supplier to the Australian automotive industry. DENSO has also been awarded the 2007 Toyota Supplier Award for Original Equipment Supply.

Other leading brands have also joined Premier Auto Trade recently including Valeo, Hitachi and Walker Products (USA). “We are delighted that leading manufacturers such as Valeo, Hitachi and Walker Products have also come on board recently” says Jim Cots, Managing Director Premier Auto Trade. “We continue to focus on OE quality products and leading brands and we welcome Valeo, Hitachi and Walker Products to our portfolio”.

Premier Auto Trade will also continue to distribute the Bougicord range of products following the closure of Electricfil Australia’s operations. “Premier Auto Trade recently completed the purchase of Electicfil Australia’s Bougicord stock profile and we will continue to distribute Bougicord's large range of ignition & sensor products for the aftermarket in Australia” said Jim Cots. This range of ignition lead sets, ignition coils and select sensors has expanded from Bougicord’s initial Australian offering which included mostly European model cars to cover many Australian built Vehicles.
