Premier Auto Trade moves to new premises
Due to company growth and rapidly increasing market demand for EFI and
engine management components Premier Auto Trade has recently relocated
to a new state of the art premises. The new building offers over 1850
sq metres (over 20,000 sq feet) of warehouse, office, workshop and training
facilities and is located directly opposite the existing warehouse in
Mentone Victoria, which was struggling to keep up with demand.
“It may have been a short physical distance to move, literally
right across the road, but it is a move to a new level of office and
logistics facilities” said Jim Cots, director Premier Auto Trade.
“It enables us to meet or exceed our stock and service levels
now and well into the future” says Jim.
Established in 1982 from a single van servicing the local trade with
auto electrical components Premier Auto Trade is now a national supplier
specialising in genuine and original equipment (OE) products from the
worlds leading manufacturers including Delphi, Pierburg, Standard, Bougicord
and Siemens VDO and have built a reputation for quality brands and outstanding
service. Premier Auto Trade distributes across Australia through a network
of specialised resellers and also exports to several other countries
in the region.
“We are focussed on our customers and suppliers and our new building
is a key element in allowing us to deliver leading services” says
Darren Van Gerrevink, sales and marketing manager Premier Auto Trade.
“We have also implemented the latest specialist industry software
and warehousing technology, to ensure the more than 1600 stock product
lines are quickly and correctly delivered” said Van Gerrevink.
Premier Auto Trade is now at 36-40 Shearson Crescent Mentone Victoria
with telephone and fax details remaining unchanged.
